About this mod Machine translation

1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3... waltz in with a partner of your choice using the spell :).

This is a third person animation - it won't work in first person. This is not a bug, just the nature of the mod.

Hard requirements

► FNIS version 7_4_5 or higher,

► SKSE version 1_07_03 or higher,

►SkyUI version 5.1 or higher.

Partially included

► If you have an older version, PapyrusUtil is partially included in this mod

Override; not if you already have the latest version installed. ► If an older version is available, the MfgConsole section included in the mod

Overwrite; if you have an older version, do not overwrite the latest version already installed in your game.

Short story:

Well, despite my best efforts to be gentlemanly (or maybe he formed some rough idea of what the situation might be like), my Dovahkiin was more likely to relax with a warhammer than a bouquet of flowers, but some of the female entourage kept complaining: what's the purpose of all those cute frocks and rags they can find in the forge if they're stuck milling around in the mud all day and charging all night? ! ..there's a lot more to do in Skyrim than just looting, there's a lot more civilized preaching and murdering emperors, right?

Lydia has been looking for a suitable dance teacher, except Cicero, but even Elisif has no idea. So, okay, she decided to teach my Dovahkiin what she imagined herself to be 1,2,3... 1,2,3... can it be that hard? Come on, be a good Dawakin! . To prove himself a gentleman, he pleads (first in a hidden room in some distant ruins, the Dauwakin should never laugh!). It turns out that this is very difficult. He's definitely stiff in the joints and has no sense of rhythm at all, but he keeps practicing and at least the girl is happy (er) now...!

Personal note: This is also my first one ever animated, and yes, my joints are still a little stiff... ;)

Install:

  • Make sure your installation meets the requirements of this mod: FNIS, SKSE, SkyUI.
  • Select and download only one main file version: v0.1a (if your game already has MFGConsole and PapyrusUtil), or v0.1b (if your game does not have these mods installed). Then install the main file using any mod manager of your choice - or manually if you know what you're doing. 3. Don’t forget to run FNIS for the user before launching the game. 4.

Once in the game, new features will be added to the inventory called "Dovah-Waltz."

  • After a few minutes, you will receive a notification saying that the new MCM menu has been added to your Mod Configuration. One way to speed things up is to immediately reload the loaded save, and the MCM menu should appear almost immediately.

HOW TO:

When you enable this feature, a new smaller feature called "Dovah-Waltz" will automatically be added to your inventory. When used, it will find the closest actor in front of you and play the animation if playback is allowed. When you want to end the animation, just press the activation key and then play the "exit" animation. If for some reason you want to end the animation immediately, use the Jump key instead, which will bypass the exit animation.

The MCM menu lets you change the animation speed (10% slower, 10% faster or the default: there's not much difference between the two to be honest, more of a test), customize the animation offset and size of the actor, or toggle the Dovah-Waltz power from your inventory to prevent chaos when needed. There is also a Debug option available if you get stuck for some reason. You can interchange roles: you lead or follow (but this comes at the cost of a lot of tailoring and bad alignment (yes, because you know, male and female bodies are not exactly interchangeable... ;) ).

Customizable

Waltz Music: This module also adds a music file that will add some background music to the waltz animation - Vindsvept's default clips are great because I couldn't upload Strauss Waltz or Shostakovich's Waltz n°2, to use in the video. You can replace it with any music you like to customize the music, …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
