About this mod Machine translation

Nether's Follower Framework is designed as a simple multi-follower system that takes up very few game resources and can accommodate up to 10 companions at a time. It offers many other features, including immersion and quality-of-life features, allowing you to adventure with a small group of characters. Ported from SSE.

NETHEROL's follow-up framework

Looking for a multi-slave framework that easily leverages game resources and lets you choose between animal or humanoid companions, up to 10 at a time? How about a system that offers both immersion and quality-of-life fun features that allow you to tailor the framework to your play style?

Look no further, Nether’s Follower Framework is more than that!

This mod has 4 goals:

  • Compatible with other mods wherever possible so you can use it with your own favorites.

-Provides accompanying features that are familiar and useful, yet engaging and fun.

  • Make preferences optional and irrevocable so that companions (and your game) aren't broken along the way.
  • Provide interesting options but also keep the resource friendly and scripting engine light.

The framework is designed to be used with followers using the default follower system. In other words, join the standard "Conversation Tracker" mission (most companions on). However, there is also an optional feature that allows you to import custom followers so that they can also take advantage of the many aspects of this mod (no guarantees, of course, but it has been tested with many unique followers).

This mod does require SKSE and SkyUI, but those components allow me to provide you with streamlined and engaging options that wouldn't otherwise be possible.

NFF is made by a follower with years of gaming and programming experience who enjoys bringing together a rotating group of adventurers to accompany his dragon clan on their adventures across Skyrim. For the nerds out there! (a...) Nords!

How to solve certain problems:

  • Sort your mods with loot.

-Put nwsFollowerFramework.esp at the end of your load order, even if loot puts it and nowhere else, I don't care what it says. Heck, even make a rule in Spoils of War to put it last.

Core functions

-Up to 10 followers (flexible, can be humanoid or animals).

-No starter bow or arrows.

  • Integrated fun NPC support (obviously requires iNPC)
  • Explicit support for Serana and Sofia.
  • The powerful MCM menu allows you to freely choose all the following options. If you don't like something, you can probably turn it off.
  • Detailed PDF guide provided explaining all features.
  • If you have problems getting the frame "stuck", there are optional (vanilla + DLC) script replacements available. The same goes for RDO's options.
  • Native support for 3DNPC, like vanilla fans. Make sure the option in FOMOD is checked.

sandbox

-Allows followers to enter the sandbox while performing passive tasks.

-Set "Followers" to "Sandbox Town" only.

-Automatic sandbox in town interiors, your house or a location determined by you.

-Switch any specific follower.

  • Allow followers (and other NPCs) to enter the interior of multiple levels of the sandbox.

-Sandbox trackers can be individually set up to craft and/or interact with. In this sense, "Craft" is not a mock object, but it does provide them with some actual work to do, along with some minor conveniences/gains. Currently, interactions are limited to ordering drinks at the bistro.

Ride/Ride Support

-Allows followers to use the derived horses provided by this mod.

-Make the horse disappear or stay nearby when not riding.

-Choose the breed and effect of its horse, choose a breed globally.

  • Providing a horse riding package is only supported if another mod provides a horse system, but no package.
  • Toggle off any specific follower.

fighting

-Set the combat distance and non-combat distance of the follower. *

-Place minions in healer or tank roles.

  • Provides 10 different fighting styles for your followers to choose from.

-Reduce infighting among followers.

  • (Opt …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
