About this mod Machine translation

Expansions, workability, transformations and patches for Nyss Armor Mashup UUNP, a mashup based on gears from the MMORPG "Vindictus", made by InferiusPL. The original version had some issues and wasn't suitable for TES at all, so I reworked it. Added variant boots and gauntlets, as well as wingless breastplate, light/heavy/clothing. Non-cheating statistics. Bug fixes.

Details

=========

*Get rid of the dull teal color and replace it with vanilla black leather, red leather and metallic accents. (Much more is easily possible by using the color balance slider in GIMP or PhotoShop and adding some extra project records.)

*A wingless version of the breastplate/dress is available.

*Has black boots, plus blood red.

*Features metal claw gloves and red claw (blood? daedric?) variants.

*Fixed missing human heel mesh on boots.

  • Fixed incorrect texture paths and filenames in gloves.

*Put items into the game (without having to use the console), but only as craftable items (not added to the flat list).

*Make them buildable as garments, light armor or heavy armor, with reasonable manufacturing requirements, and with appropriate weight and resale value. Forges for armor crafts, tanning racks for clothing. Armor items can be tempered on the armor table.

*Reduced super cheat armor level. The light version is now slightly better than Elven and requires the Elven Smithing perk. The heavy version is better (especially lighter) than Dwarven's hair, and requires the corresponding perks.

*Excess gold price reduced to vanilla range.

*Items have certain object boundaries, the same as Elf Gear.

  • New ID and file path; you can install it with the original mod, merge it, or whatever. I advocate consolidating simple gear mods into a single ESP to free up mod slots. I use "Merge Plugin xEdit Script".

*Includes additional BodySlide assets. If you didn't get the original mod, it will contain the original OSD files. If both can be combined.

  • Fixed normal map naming pattern (from *_normal.dds to *_n.dds) so that texture tools can tell what they mean.

*Reduce the specularity of the wing leather so it looks correct and is more visually distinct from the metal wing frame.

*Uses DDSopt optimized textures.

*Options with tinters include an optional low-resolution texture set. Ha ha.

  • New in 1.3: Fixed over-scaled textures.
  • New in 1.3: Add predefined outfits as modifier resources. You can wear light armor, wings, black boots, metal claws; or heavy, no wings, red boots, red claws; and so on. The only combinations I didn't implement were metal claws but red boots, or red claws but black boots (get both hands and feet if you want red). You can set up a complete dungeon with succubi and their unresolved minions by assigning Outfits (but see the first point about grid efficiency under "Known Issues"). They have clear editor IDs, such as DrqNyssOutfitNoWing_H.
  • New in 1.4: Adjusted all specular levels to (hopefully) look better and be neither super glossy nor super dark. Also fixed differences between BodySlide and default mesh (winged version).

I won't add more options to this. I just put this together for my own game and thought others might dig the results.

I myself made InferiusPL the manager of this mod (and gave him Donations points). He is free to integrate what I have done into his mod and simply delete this page. Or just remove it and not use any of them. Or take over that work and build on top of it. Or use versions of my mesh and texture files to build new content on other pages or pages. The original mod (which is temporarily unavailable) has a bit of a WIP feel to it, and will probably be returned and developed in ways that would make me not do it at all.

Install

===========

**Requires "HDT HighHeels System". If you try to use boots without boots, the game will crash.

*Requires "High Heel Sound". If you don't do this, you may crash or become silent.

*You will need a Dimonized UNP, UUNP BodySlide or some derived female body model (UNPB, etc.) and se …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
