About this mod Machine translation
This mod turns the hulking Lurker on top into a giant Daedric nightmare by replacing its skeleton with a custom one, giving it an even more bizarre look! You can unleash your courage and immerse yourself in Apocrypha every time you get into 101% trouble!
[[[MOD Description]]
If you're like me and are disappointed with vanilla Lurkers, this mod is for you. This mod replaces the vanilla Lurker skeleton with a new custom skeleton, giving the lurking Lurker a more menacing, terrifying and immersive look. Working within the confines of the vanilla mesh, I adjusted the Lurker's head, neck, and limbs. These subtle changes to Apocrypha lurkers make them look even more bizarre and terrifying. Every encounter with the island of Solstheim and the kingdom of Apocrypah transports you into the world of Skyrim!
[[[MOD compatibility]]
Looming Lurkers uses a custom skeleton from Vanilla Lurkers and will override any mods that make changes to the Vanilla Lurker skeleton. Mods that make radical changes on top of the vanilla skeleton (such as Realistic Ragdolls and Powers) are compatible as long as Looming Lurkers is installed after those mods and allows it to overwrite the files.
Should be fully compatible with any texture mod as this mod does not contain any textures, it is just a skeleton. This also makes it compatible with most other mob mods that don't edit the vanilla skeleton
[[Install]]
It is recommended to use Mod Manager or your favorite Mod Manager.
After installing Looming, make changes to Vanilla Spider and any mods. When prompted to overwrite any files, click Agree to All.
There is no ".esp plugin" for this mod.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
