About this mod Machine translation
Changes to staff and staff crafting to make them more suitable for a variety of playstyles and early game. New perks have also been added that allow employees to charge more, making them more productive, but at a cost.
Function
- All employees now have a standard fee.
-All staff have new crafting recipes, no need to know the spell to craft staff.
-Staff enchantments have been changed to match their spell counterparts.
-Added some new wands and some new wands that restore magic.
-All employees have a more powerful charged version that can be unlocked through perks.
-Enchanted staff can now be crafted at the Blacksmith Forge.
Staff charges
Clerks now have a standardized fee based on the level of the spell they are enchanted with.
Newbie - 300 fees
Apprentice-100
Pen Fee Proficiency - 50 Fees
Expert - 25 fees
Master - 5 fees
Although these levels may seem low, they are fully capable of lasting multiple battles before needing to recharge. However, I do recommend using a mod that passively enchants enchantments, such as Ordinator or weapon charges over time, as it does increase a person's longevity. Any employees who are uniquely named may also be charged more than unnamed employees.
Staff recipes
In the base game, the staff recipe includes the Heartstone (an unacquainted staff) and also requires the player to know the spell it will be enchanted with. In order for the staff to be a substitute for magic rather than a support, the staff recipe has been changed to no longer require spell knowledge. Recipes still require heart stones and non-obsessed personnel, but now also primarily require alchemical ingredients such as fire and frost salts. Although no additional perks are required, a wand can only be created if the enchantment level is equal to the wand's spell level.
Novice-15 people
Apprentices-25
Skilled-50 people
Experts-75
Master-90 people
Enchant
- Some staffs, usually hallucination staffs, with the highest level, will be affected by the staff even without any additional bonuses, which is still much lower than the spell it produces. The damage or level cap of these wands has been increased to make them equal or occasionally stronger than their base spell counterparts.

top up
New perks can be unlocked at level 75. This allows for the creation of overcharged staff at the staff enchantment, significantly improving the work effect but reducing the charge. Typically, the efficiency is increased by 100%, but this is not always the case as some workers are based on magic or other spells that cannot be simply doubled.
Intoxicated Staff Artifacts
Uncharted Staff versions can now be forged. Very self explanatory.
compatibility
The mod should be compatible with everything, as long as it doesn't change the functionality of existing personnel or change the charming skill tree. There is a patch for Ordinator that makes revitalized trees work properly. Other compatibility patches may be added, depending on if enough people request it or if I want to.
Install/Uninstall-
Install
This is a standard download from NMM or the Mod Organizer of your choice, or manually download and move the .esp into Skyrim's data folder.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
