About this mod Machine translation
Are you tired of swords that pierce through steel plates like butter? Is every hit predictable? Does every armor feel the same regardless of the material? no longer!
Dramatically increases combat depth and immersion; bringing a realistic balance to your fantasy games!
Why you need real armor
In vanilla Skyrim, there are different armor types and there are a lot of different types of armor, but they all fit into the range from warm butter to cold butter. They function the same, no differences, no variety, no advantages and disadvantages. The armor system is shallow and boring. This also reflects the best of pathetic vanilla combat. While there are many combat modes around, none adequately address the role of armor in the equation.
This is where True Armor comes in. This mod completely changes the basic way armor works in Skyrim, to the point where it completely replaces the vanilla armor system. You will be hard-pressed to find any mod that offers a more realistic, realistic and in-depth experience with armor mechanics.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
