Another piece I've worked on in Middle-earth is The Hobbit Path, but thought people might find it useful on its own.
Adds craftable portable lantern on Skyrim.
1 Troll Fat, 1 Dwarf Curved Scrap Metal, and a Forge add a portable and usable lantern to your inventory that lasts 7 minutes before being burned and removed. Add one to your follower's inventory and they will carry it at night or in a dark outer cell.
Notice
The only workaround I've found is to equip/detach the weapon immediately after equipping/detaching the lantern to prevent the character from "freezing" or permanently "shaking". Use the same method to stop your follower's permanent "handshake".
I've done a lot of work and testing in the grid, so if you don't like it, don't use it.
