About this mod Machine translation

Inspired by the Marvel Universe's Infinity Gauntlet, this mod adds a relatively legend-friendly version called the Continuum Glove. Travel around Skyrim to collect six gems that grant the bearer considerable abilities, and shape them into a gauntlet of cosmic power.

Update 2.0 is now available

Because I've changed the code in one of the scripts to allow the stone to have more powers, I can't guarantee that existing save games will work properly. This is still a risk with a mod still being written.

I believe I've ported this to Xbox. It's my first time trying this, so there may be issues.

"Before creation, there were six singularities. Then the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems formed concentrated ingots."

This mod attempts to insert Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet into Skyrim in as Marvel-friendly a way as possible. Since winning the game with just my fingers isn't fun, I obviously had to lower the power level quite a bit. Hopefully it still makes you feel like a Titanic adventurer.

Gems are hidden around Skyrim, existing as wearable necklaces. When you find/steal/win/obtain one, simply equipping it will give you a spell or two appropriate to the stone it contains. All spells still have a mana cost, but it's quite low, allowing you to reuse these powers early in the game.

Once you've found the gauntlet, you can start adding stones to any crafting forge or anvil. Putting stones into gloves may adjust the spells the stones grant, so be sure to check out their new abilities. However, to keep the amount of code to a manageable amount, they can only be added in a specific order. Power-Space-Reality-Soul-Time-Mind

What did they do?

Power

INFINITE COSMIC POWER!!!! Not great, but does give you a huge damaging electric spell. Constant Projection works like Spark, but with more damage.

Increases your magicka and stamina base and regeneration rate. After all, you are getting electricity.

space

Send sight. It does have a range limit, stemming from Skyrim's ability to render landscapes at a distance. Suitable for vertical or mid-range horizontal transportation. Attempt teleportation at your own risk.

Telepathy. Applies to people and objects. Sometimes at the same time.

Reality

By distorting the fabric of reality, a fairly powerful defensive zone can be created.

Use extraction methods to remove ore from mineable veins.

Shift you to pocket size as a player's home. You can build furniture there, just like with the Fire House

soul

A killing spell and soul trap.

Using the same spell on a corpse will boost it as Thaler does. Suitable for advanced NPCs.

time

Slow down time. Like Slow Time Shout, but without the warping/discoloration and with an instant cast time.

(Due to a glitch in the game's code, I can't seem to determine,

Sometimes using this stone repeatedly can be dangerous. Just exercise some restraint, that's what I'm saying. ) stone may turn your personal situation around in time to the point where you are healthy. [Random healing when you are low]

soul

Added calming and enraging spells, suitable for high-level NPCs.

Improve your voice skills.

Stones and gloves are hidden around the world. Part of the fun is finding their location. They are not completely hidden and some will be discovered during regular gameplay. If you find one, there's usually a clue pointing in the other direction.

Also note that the Time and Power Necklaces will increase the learning rate of certain skills.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
