About this mod Machine translation
Add task markers to previously lost tasks.
This mod adds quest markers to previously missing quests. It's that simple. Currently the following tasks are covered:
Back to roots*
drowning sorrow*
Break Ritual Spell
Extract argon
first edition
Forgotten Valley Book Search*
Illusion Ritual Spell (quest marker visible only with tenth eye visual effects)
saint's impatience
Soul Mountain Horse Quest
*Not retroactive. If a mission has already started, no new mission markers will appear after installing this mod.
This mod should be considered a work in progress. A comprehensive to-do list with no missing markers. Therefore this mod only covers quests that have been reported or that I found myself on. If you encounter a task without a task tag, please report it to me so I can add it. Note that mission markers can only be added if there is a known target. Quests such as "Collect 10 bear pelts" cannot be marked.
I won't be adding quest markers for "Unbreakable Stone" because there is already a mod: Barenziah quest marker stone.
Loading order
It should be loaded as high as possible, but with an even higher pursuit goal.
compatibility
Incompatible with modules for editing tagged tasks. In the case of a conflict, you usually want to let another mod win the conflict, as their changes may be more significant.
Fixes from unofficial patches have been included.
Fully compatible with better mission objectives. Their improved mission descriptions have been included.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
