About this mod Machine translation
independent. Pure immersion. Never friendly. Replace most of the NPC's normal clothes with Tasheni's ethnic-style warm Winteroutfits. Resources for playable modders. There are 32 pieces of women's clothing, 25 pieces of men's coats, 5 pieces of children's clothing, 2 pairs of children's boots, 13 pairs of men's and women's boots, and 10 headgear and hats. Replacer only, player version coming soon.
This mod required a lot of work and I'm proud to be releasing the first version now. Hope you like my work. Your screenshots or videos are welcome, and of course your suggestions.
The common people of Skyrim now wear outstanding ethnic costumes, perfect for the cold and everyday life.
These include 32 women's dresses, 25 men's coats, 5 children's clothing, 2 pairs of children's boots, 13 pairs of men's and women's boots, 10 headscarves and hats. Some of them had no male or female companions, i.e. servant dresses were only for women.
I only use natural materials: different types of fur, leather, leather, cotton, linen, felt, reed and wool. I always thought Skyrim's normal clothes were so... uncultured. I bring you the culture and art of embroidery, leather crafts, beading, quilting and weaving. enjoy your meal!
This is only a replacement for NPC clothing, there is no opportunity to purchase or craft the clothing. You can do this by using the console.
A version of the player is not yet ready but will be released. Please wait.
I haven't introduced Argonians and Khajiits, Barman and Chef's Outfits yet. Farms and settlements only use vanilla clothes, and I mostly stayed in towns in vanilla Skyrim. I assign them carefully to individuals. If you don't agree with my choice, feel free to use ck to change clothes.
1k texture, saved in DXT1, coveralls saved in DXT5, no need to use Ordenador on the textures. I couldn't have made a bigger resolution. I know there are some blurry textures. I use them because I love the material and pattern. Texture stretching is a big problem, it's caused by bad UV mapping and there's nothing I can do about it. And I don't care about body modding, so please don't ask me to make it compatible with cbbe or anything else.
I won't do an SE version, I don't have SE and can't even support already ported files.
This mod is standalone. Only Skyrim.esm is required. I used USLEEP's fixed grid, so compatibility should be no problem. The mod has been cleared via TESVEdit and doesn't show any overrides, but the npc, MO doesn't show any conflicts. I didn't touch anything. If you have a mod that changes gear from NPCs, my mod will probably cover those.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
