About this mod Machine translation
This mod replaces the female leather armor mesh with improved leather with symmetrical cauldrons. This is a simple mesh replacer mod, compatible with everything including texture replacers. There is no esp file.
General information
Ever since I started playing Skyrim, I have both loved and hated leather armor. I really like the general form and style, but cauldrons always annoy me. My shapely ass couldn't handle that spiky thing on my left shoulder. So I made this mod.
This mod replaces the female's leather armor mesh with a new symmetrical large shoulder, the even one on the right shoulder. It uses a UNP body, but you can also use it with a vanilla body. It's that simple.
There are versions: one with underwear (for those who use the body with underwear) and one without underwear (for those who use the naked body). If you use vanilla body, use it with underwear.
NOTE: This mod only replaces the FEMALE mesh. Convex meshes and ground objects (objects that appear in the inventory) will remain unchanged.
This means that all male characters and NPCs will still have an asymmetrical armor mesh, as well as the armor shown in the inventory.
If you're playing as a female character, you have to suspend disbelief that the spiky stuff shown on armor in your inventory simply "disappears" when equipped.
compatibility
This mod is compatible with everything that doesn't change the female leather armor mesh, so it's basically compatible with everything.
It is compatible with every texture replacement.
It also works with all changes to armor stats, combat mechs, NPCS,...
This MOD is safe to install and uninstall whenever you like. It won't crash your game.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
