Reason for this mod:
_____________________
Do I really need a reason?
I have fun creating things. I have more fun using pieces from the game.
I also love LoTR, especially the weapons. Fantasy but practical.
Thanduil's Sword is one of the designs I could see an Elf King creating for himself.
I'm certainly no Elf King, but.....I could play one in Skyrim if I wanted. :)
I share because I want to. If I make someone smile, I smile with them.

This mod adds a Sword of Thranduil to the middle of the Academy of Winterhold. it's stuck in
There's some poor skeleton in the heart.
It can also be crafted with the Elven Master Blacksmith, and can be upgraded.

This only requires Skyrim.esm with the latest updates. Yeppers....Oldrim. This is what I have.
This is not specific to SSE (although if anyone wants to help me get there, I'll grant permission to do so).

Or....use a mod manager (highly recommended).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
