Introducing SwiftAxe, a fast and lightweight pickaxe that will make mining ore a breeze!
Hey Valistar here, I'm about to release my first weapon mod. I'm excited to announce a new, not-so-unique unique weapon called the SwiftAx. A miner working with Perth's excavation crew in the Sinkhole at Soljund crafted a pickaxe out of a bit of moonstone that was not only lightweight (weighing only 3 pounds) but also swung much faster (3 dps vs. 1.3 vanilla). I made it as intellectually friendly as possible, even including a diary written by an unnamed miner explaining how he did it. I chose Moonstone because of the super light weight of Elf armor and weapons. Of course, you can find this weapon in the cesspit of Soljund, next to some barrels and the miner's book, which contains the moonstone. It also provides background information about the place. Hope you like it. If it is not obvious, the swing speed is not important if the vein is activated. It's only when you hit a vein with a pick that you really notice the speed.
Future update - I'll be texturing the pickaxe to match the moonstone lore once I figure out how to retexture it.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
