Candy Shoppe by Sweetshare
Version 1.0
Author: Mentha
Happy Spring. The Candy Shoppe at Old Sweetshare is my seventh extra-dimensional house. This one is located in Solstheim. You can find the globe on top of the temple at Raven Rock. Make your own candies, grow your own sugar cane, and sell moon candy to Khajiit. Let your mischief please the mad God. It features full crafting, a bed with a good rest bonus, new alchemical ingredients, and navigation for followers in their own cells.
Description of the old Sweetshare Garden:
In his garden you can find almost everything you need to make sweets. However, there are some ingredients that need to be found in Skyrim and Solstheim.
There were a few rabbits running around the garden. Their legs can be used to make chocolate eggs. Chocolate eggs can be crafted from sugar cane, rabbit legs, pine eggs, and rock warbler eggs. An egg will boost all of your crafting and repairing skills over a period of time.
Sugar cane is important in making sweets. Depending on how much sugar cane you have, you can make sturdier candies. Candy can have 21 different properties, each requiring different ingredients and sugar cane.
Strength is arranged in order of available ingredients. Depending on the amount of ingredients you put into your recipe, your candies will get stronger, or last longer.
New Ingredients: There are five new ingredients in Sweetshare Garden. Each one has a candy-making purpose, so be careful what you spend.
Plants needed for fertilizer: There are three plants in the garden that can help your cane grow stronger. Nightshade, purple jarrin root, blue nirnroot and spawn ash are all needed to improve your cane. You can improve your cane three times, requiring the same ingredients both times. Not only does this make your sugar cane's properties stronger, but it takes less to make more moon sugar. Make moon candy by mixing sugar cane and spiky grass over cooking saliva.
Sugarcane will help you withstand frost, enhance stealth, regenerate magic, and resist fire. Improved sugar cane (obtained by fertilizing your sugar cane) will also have these properties, but they are stronger. To get super sugar cane, improved sugar cane needs to be fertilized, the same ingredients, but the result will be stronger.
Two sugar cane and two grass pods will give you two moon sugar, while two improved sugar cane and two grass pods will give you four, and two super sugar cane and two grass pods will give you six, so it's money to improve your sugar cane and grow it.
Gardens have normal cell resets, so depending on how often you visit you will reset the timer, however, planted plots have the normal Hearthfires reset times applied.
There are 15 plant plots in the Sweetshare Garden. You can only plant three sugar canes, blue roots or purple hormone roots in a plot. The plants will be ready within a day, but will take three days to regrow after that. Be selective about what you plant there, because there are only so many plots. You'll find a supply of raw materials for all the plants you need to grow and improve cane in the garden, and there's also some spawn ash in the house. Give your garden time to regenerate for best results.
Blue nirnroot and purple jarrin root will improve your alchemy skills. Mix them on the alchemy table to get a boost.
Round trip travel: Sweetshare's has its own travel system. Consume the world's health and deliver it to your home on Sweetshare. Use the map to travel to any major city or town, Castle Volkihar, Fort Dawnguard or Raven Rock. Activate any cheese man to return to where you came from. Don't use the globe in my other extradimensional house, as you may end up throwing the bottle into the first house you go to.
The Sweetshare house has plenty of storage space for your sweets, this bed provides ample bonus, and it also has all the crafting skills …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
