About this mod Machine translation
All hair and wigs from KS Hairdos and new HDT physics from KS Hairdos HDT and Dint999 are now available for men.
Sweet lockdown!
KS hairstyle for both men and women
And wigs!
Personally, I've always been a fan of long hair on men, and I don't think I'm the only one. This 'mod' simply edits the esp files from the new HDT physics for KS Hairdos Renewal, KS Hairdos HDT Physics and KS-SG hair to make all hair and wigs unisex. Just cover the original esps and presto and your man can finally have the flowing locks you've always dreamed of. The original mod file is required.
But be aware that these hairs are not made for male heads or bodies, so some will never look good on a man simply because half of his skull is clipped in, or most of the length of the hair is. Disappear into the chest or back. I find that male Altmer eyebrows are particularly painful to cut. That said, I was blown away by how awesome some of these men looked, which is why I decided to share. Seeing as there are hundreds of hairs in KS Hairdos alone, I haven't posted images of a subset of the available hairs yet, so feel free to add your own if you find something that looks great. :)
Now that my poor rat hands have done most of the work of converting them to unisex, Kalilies and Stealthic Khaos, Skyrim would be a much less mythical place without them. Also dint999 because they did a wonderful job converting more hair to HDT as well as wigs.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
