Super simple lock thump

Simple lightweight lock flutter mod for Skyrim.

Skyrim SE backport/reupload of mzin's lock strike module. Credited to him and uploaded with free access on his mod page.

Super Simple Lock Bash Added the ability to bash open doors and chests.

This mod is designed to be as simple as possible and fit into the original Skyrim experience.

Require

Requires Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC. SKSE is not required.

Overview

To whack a lock, attack it with your weapon or fist.

If successful, the lock will open. If it fails, the lock will remain closed.

The screen will shake slightly if you need to keep trying.

If the lock cannot be opened via bash, you will receive a warning message.

Success depends on your level, weapon skill, weapon materials, lock difficulty and luck.

You'll get better at fighting locks as you level up, improve your weapon skills, or use stronger weapons.

Pouncing on the dungeon's locks is noisy and may be alerted by enemies.

Slamming locks in stores may alert guards.

compatibility

Compatible with destructible display cases. Both mods will perform their functions normally. You can still smash the open lock on the display case and/or break the glass.
