Overview -
This mod is just a fun little project of mine trying to increase the options available to those who wish to use tanlines on their characters. This includes tanlines that represent swimwear, lingerie, and apparel well. Some of them are inspired by popular clothing, some of them are not. Some of the tanlines don't correspond to actual clothing, but just look funny.
16 swimsuit coverages and 6 clothing coverages! Swimsuit covers are available in worn and fresh versions. In total, counting fresh and worn variations of swimsuits, there are 40 tanline covers! This should give you enough options to meet all your tanline needs! Oh, and there's also a Saviors Hide tanline. This mod supports bodies from the UNP and CBBE series, just select the body file you have installed.
When applying tanlines, you will notice that at full opacity (transparency) they look very bright. You need to turn it off a lot to make them look more natural. You can adjust the base color slightly to achieve your desired skin tone! Transparency can be adjusted using the fourth bar in the color selection tool in RaceMenu.
Install-
Installation is simple, just unzip the files and move the data folder into the Skyrim directory. Otherwise, you can install using Vortex or NMM by selecting Download using Vortex/NMM in the Files section.
-Uninstallation-
If you installed using Vortex NMM or any other mod organizer, you may be able to uninstall using it.
To uninstall the RaceMenu mod, you can disable the mod.esp, or delete it and the .bsa file.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
