About this mod Machine translation
Arrow damage/speed/trajectory overhaul. Each arrow type is now unique and offers different balance! (Better arrow balance to replace the arrows from my other arrow related mod)
Use your arrows wisely!
All arrows in the game have different trajectories, speeds, and set amounts of damage to make each type unique. Details are below.
Most arrows are significantly faster than the original version of the arrows.
Higher gravity values = heavier arrows, resulting in a more noticeable drop in arrow height at any distance.

[[[[[CATEGORIES]]]] Lower level
arrow
Draugr, Falmer, Forsworn and Iron
These arrows are cheap, slow, and drop big at any distance. It takes real skill to make up for every shot.
Heavy and standard arrows
Dwarves, Ebony, Nord Heroes, Orcs and Steel
These arrows are ideal because they provide a balance between power, speed, and accuracy. It only takes a few tweaks to get there.
high end arrow
elves and glass
The arrows were flying forward with little drop. These arrows may not take damage from similar arrows, but for arrows meant to hit, that's rarely a problem. Aim slightly lower instead of higher and drop enemies from afar!
deadly arrow
Dederick
The Daedric Arrow hits harder than any other arrow, and its speed is only slightly slower than the standard Steel Arrow. The trick is that the Daedric arrows are weighted down to Low Tier Arrows. Practice aiming with low-quality arrows and you'll master the powerful Daedric Arrow in no time!
Please note that
DLC arrows like Stal, Blood, Sun, Nordic, and Dragon Bone remain vanilla and are not touched in this mod.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
