About this mod Machine translation
A simple mod can change the text on every loading screen to remind you that you should probably stop playing Skyrim and start learning.
There's no better time than starting a new game. This mod changes text in every loading screen to remind you that you should probably stop playing Skyrim instead of learning.
Require:
For this mod to work, it requires: 'Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch', created by: Unofficial Patch Project Team, and uploaded by: Arthmoor
I had no involvement in the creation of this mod, all credit goes to the Unofficial Patch Project team.
Installation instructions:
After downloading the .7z file, unzip it and move the StudyLoadScreens.esp file into Skyrim's Data folder. The default location of this folder is usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data
Once you have done this, change the load order so that the StudyLoadScreens.esp file is at the bottom of the load order.
Your load order should look like this:
Dawnguard.esm
Hearthfires.esm
Dragonborn.esm
Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp
HighResTexturePack01.esp
HighResTexturePack02.esp
HighResTexturePack03.esp
(.esp files for other mods)
StudyLoadScreens.esp
Known issues:
This mod does not work properly when Skyrim is run in a windowed mod. It will still work fine, but the game will freeze and be unresponsive for a few seconds towards the end of the loading screen. Eventually it will thaw and continue functioning normally.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
