About this mod Machine translation
Add sperm whales to your game!
"The sperm whale or parakeet is the largest of the toothed whales and the largest of the toothed predators, measuring 67 feet long and weighing nearly 65 short tons (130,000 lbs). It is the only living member of the genus Physeter and one of the 3 species of extant sperm whales
Family, with baby sperm whales and pygmy sperm whales
Belongs to Kogia.
They can be found swimming around Skyrim and around Solstheim some can be found swimming along the northern coast,
A whale usually does not attack unless it is attacked first.
They have custom sounds and loot. Due to game limitations, I cannot change the bounding box to accommodate large creatures such as sperm whales. I changed the position of the creature's bones so that the whale's head is inside the bounding box, so you have to hit it on the head to do any damage. You'll be facing forward most of the time anyway, and it would be silly to go through the whale's head like there's nothing when you're trying to fight it.
No, but I highly recommend that you enhance your Character Behavior so that you can fight whales underwater. Also, use the Clear Water Mod so you can see more than just blurred water. They also hit like trucks, so be prepared when fighting them in the water. ...or just use arrows.
enjoy your meal!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
