About this mod Machine translation
Have you ever wanted to play a character who stole the skills of someone else like Shang Tsung or Chrollo Lucilfer? Are you tired of having to go to town and buy spell books to learn good spells as you try to play an evil wizard who is an outcast from society? Then look no further! This experimental mod adds the ability for you to steal NPC spells.
feature:
New feature: Spell Stealing, allowing you to permanently learn NPC spells
Learn up to 50 NPC spells at a time
Individual spells stored by this mod can be deleted at any time in the MCM
Stolen spells can be equipped with one or two hands without changing the AI's behavior
Stolen spells are marked with the appropriate spellcasting skill
Assign a magic school to a stolen spell that is not yet associated with a magic school
Customize:
Skill Requirements: With this skill enabled you can only steal spells within the skill level, for example you need a Destruction skill of at least 25 to steal Firebolt
Level-Based Spell Slots: When enabled, you can store up to X spells at a time, where X is the player's level (or 50, whichever is less)
Made "Steal Spell" less powerful: By default, "Grab Spell" can only be used once per day. Enabling the "Reduce Power Consumption" option allows you to cast multiple times a day at the expense of Magicka
Show/hide magic school assignment dialog when stealing spells that don't have a magic school associated with them
Where is Scrabble?
Once your character reaches level 8 or higher, the Book of Magic can be found randomly in the Warlock boss chest with a low probability. There is also a guaranteed copy
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
