About this mod Machine translation
Inspired by Haptly's "Master spells should be proficient", this mod makes master spells proficient, but does not override the bug fixes made by USLEEP.
Inspired by the master level spells that are supposed to be master level, this mod makes the master level spells masterful but does not override the bug fixes made by USLEEP.
The change is...
The casting time is reduced to .5 seconds (1 second for AOE spells), and the lightning storm takes effect immediately.
All spells can be double spells except for the circle of guardians.
The effect of Guardian Circle now actually lasts for 60 seconds.
You can use Dead Thrall to resurrect anything.
Dragonhide has been changed to base 60 seconds.
Destruction spell damage has been changed to have similar DPS, but better in their own way.
Storms typically have 3 explosions, with the largest being the most destructive. Now, the maximum damage is minimal, so it's Small: 75, Medium: 50, Large: 25. DPS is 150 at close range, 75 at medium range, and 25 at long range. If this doesn't change, Firestorm will be the best master level destruction spell.
Blizzard can hit 50 DPS, but ignores resistance and line of sight.
Lightning Storm has 100 DPS health.
Spell costs have been slightly reduced except for summoned weapons, as spell costs have been set to be automatically calculated.
I wish I could figure out how to get the Guardian Circle to scale correctly with dual cast and restore stamina using perk's Respite (but idgaf).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
