About this mod Machine translation
This is a huge, no-load, Viking-themed player residence with tons of unique displays and free markers, located northwest of Haafingar.
Skogarfjell is a relatively large player in Haafingar, located east of Orphan's Tear wreck and northwest of Ravenscar Hollow. It's just the exterior (no loading screen), and contains a variety of unique item displays, courtesy of a generic display, as well as more extensive storage, and basic crafting facilities. It's vaguely Viking-themed and has a rough, tired vibe.
Skogarfjell comes in two versions, Collector's Edition and Home Edition. They were originally a file with a button that you could use to switch between loft configurations, but enabling the flag broke the display, which really disappointed me, so now you have to choose one. Their characteristics are as follows:

Please note: The Home Edition, despite my best efforts, is not natively compatible with multiple fireplace adoptions as it is limited to the exterior; Hearthfire adoption and house systems require an interior location. You have to use My Home Is Your Home, Nether's Follower Framework, Follower Live Package, or some other mod to place your child where you want it.
FAQ
Q: Was the house trawled? Your other mods aren't...
A: Yes. I learned it and it was more of a horrible pain than I thought it would be for your information. You're welcome.
I plan to revisit my city mode at some point to account for the new skills (although I shudder at the idea), but I don't have much time to go to Skyrim just yet, so I can't provide a timeline.
Q: How is the performance?
A: Any given exterior-only home will have greater performance than a home with interior units. That said, I optimized Skogarfjell as much as possible, and combined with its ranged location, you shouldn't have too much trouble with your gear. Standing at the back of the hall looking south was the worst.
Q: SSE?
Answer: No. Until I made the switch, this event seemed more and more distant every time I thought about it.
That said, you're more than welcome to port it yourself.
Q: Does it need a textured model to look good?
A: Skogarfjell should look fine with most texture settings, including vanilla. Personally, I mainly use Noble Skyrim for building, so that's my recom …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
