About this mod Machine translation

Added "Nereid's Ring" to the game so that players or followers will not be able to gain armor and clothing if they are stationary in the water.

Sadly, I must tell you that Nereid's ring was lost forever in a shipwreck after being purchased from Sybille Stentor, who had obtained it from an Imperial raid into the shattered lava caverns while being transported to the Academy of Winterhold to study.

If you want to check it out, well, Sybille was probably too preoccupied with the political intrigue to recall such chores, but luckily her letter to the General Enchantress addressed the loss, and perhaps the belongings were still in one of Sergius's colleges.

Installation: Vortex installation. Compatible with real water. Doesn't it work with pure water - it won't trigger when standing in the water, but will still trigger if swimming. Any mod that changes or adds water type may conflict with this mod. Requires Dawnguard and Dragonborn.

As far as I know, it works in all oceans, rivers, swamps, hot springs and groundwater, but I found that the water in some lakes is not represented by water quality, in which case it does not trigger. If this happens, the enchantment uses swimming as a backup trigger, so get into deeper water and kick it in.

For convenience, NPCs are re-equipped when returning to the surface. The player is not, as it is easy to do so and has control over when to change clothes.

In the optional alternate file "Slim Skyrim - Master Ring", the enchanted ring of slimming worn by a follower can only be activated if the player has "Nereid's Ring" equipped. Therefore, equipping Nereid's ring on a player will toggle the activities of others. The Lean Dip spell works the same although I added more rings to the Captain's chest and everything else is the same as I think you'll probably need them if you're using this build. Compatible with Dovahbling.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
