About this mod Machine translation
Whichever texture you use adds a lot of options to your character's skin, including adding freckles to their body and face, adding some birthmarks or adding some nasty scars to your character's body! Freckles come in various patterns and coatings. Scars range from large scratches to other features such as stretch marks.
- Overview -
This mod is designed to increase the options for people to customize their characters without having to constantly switch their skin textures. This mod adds a variety of freckles, scars, and birthmarks, and there may be more in the future. Another option you can add to your character with this mod is to add some rough stretch marks in some areas. Freckles can be placed on all parts of the body, and a number of patterns and coating densities are available. Facial scars may look a little strange if FacePaint isn't enabled, but you should still be able to find some use for them. Some textures have UUNP and CBBE versions to better suit those looks and body features.
In RaceMenu, to access textures, press T on one of the default ones to display a list of installed textures. Pressing E to change colors, then T in the color selection menu will allow you to access the Glow settings (excluding makeup). (For vitiligo effects (on the face), it currently doesn't work well on lighter skin tones, but should work well on darker skin tones.)
When applying textures to your character, it is highly recommended that you use opacity (transparency) as it gives you more options. This is especially true for scars, as they will look out of place at full opacity. A suitable setting for freckles is a dark red with an opacity that suits your needs. Play with them and see what you can accomplish, and as always have complete color control.
In RaceMenu, all overlays can have the prefix SFO at the beginning of their name. If you feel so inclined, feel free to add your own images as I didn't have enough time to add them all.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
