This is a simple mod that adds an activator to Shadowmarks so you can see its name at a glance. mark. Activating it will give you a quote from the in-game book Shadowmarks. Text placement is done dynamically, which means that any mod that places Shadowmarks in the world should display itself correctly without the need for a compatibility patch, as long as it is in a world using an existing Shadowmark TextureSet.
Until you find the game book Shadowmarks, or join the Thieves' Guild, you will not be able to read the Shadowmarks, and they will just look like strange symbols to you. If you really don't want to find the book or perform a task, you can use the console to generate the book, or use the following command:
