About this mod Machine translation
Improve the player's home in Severin Manor from the Dragonborn DLC, adding some lighting, extra containers, a set of shrines fit for the legend, and a resident goods merchant with deep pockets.
illustrate
Some updates to the Severin Manor player home from the Dragonborn DLC:
Add some other containers in craft areas and bedrooms
Enchantment: Enchant a satchel on the table, enchant a soul chest or a chest with enchanted items, a safe filled with soul gems
Alchemy: Added a safe for alchemy gear
Blacksmithing: Added chests for ores, ingots, etc.
Bedroom: Add a safe above the safe and replace some baskets with buckets
Add some extra lighting in darker areas (especially around mannequins and weapon racks) so you can actually see the decorations
Replace the bench in the hallway of your spouse's bedroom with a set of dark elven shrines (Mephala, Boethiah and Azura)
Added the merchant Talda to the kitchen area; Talda is a general goods merchant who sells local-appropriate goods and has 30,000 gold on hand to buy any junk you might be hauling home!
Install
I recommend adding this mod after the player obtains Severin Manor as a house. If installed earlier, it shouldn't interfere with the main questline, but it might be strange to find Talda in Severin Manor while the manor is still controlled by the Severin family...
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
