About this mod Machine translation
A player's home located on a hilltop near The Reach, constructed from assets from Castle Dour and Elianora's own resource pack (thanks Eli!). Features an enchanting table, a full set of blacksmith crafting tools, and a bathtub
Severin Castle
" The story tells of the paladin Saint Dendar, who retired to the hills near Macas after fulfilling his duty to the gods. His castle still lies atop the hill he built, perfectly preserved and awaiting the arrival of new residents. "
For my first ever mod, I set out to complete my own mission. Has anyone else noticed that there is very little player housing in The Reach or nearby? Of course I did. Arriving was a gorgeous venue and I was surprised there weren't more houses in the area. So, to fill this gap, I learned Creation Kit. Now, with these new skills, I bring you Severin Castle.
The house is (at least for now) a reimagining of the royal family in Château d'Ur. The looks don't match yet, but I'm working on it. Over time, the home will be improved. To enter the building, look for a chest somewhere on the property. Your keys will be placed inside.
~Compatibility and Requirements~
Any unique models or items brought by this mod are standalone, so its only requirement is the base game and its DLC. The only mods this person might conflict with are any mods that can edit units in Severin Castle and its surroundings (Tamriel Wilderness - 27, 6 and surrounding areas). I made sure the new NavMeshes were clean and NPCs and mobs were working properly in the area.
~Install
~nmm/vortex: Download and install
Manually: Place the .esp file in your data folder, make sure the file is in your data folder
~uninstall~
I'm sure just uninstalling/deleting the mod will do the trick, just make sure your most recently saved file is not in or near Severin Castle.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
