Serana has no friendly fire

She's supposed to be our ally - why does she keep blasting our other minions with frost spells? This mod should stop friendly shooting.

Introduction

She is my favorite vampire and yours. We knew her, we loved her, that was the only Serana. However, she always seems to blast her allies with frost spells in battle, causing them to turn on her after the initial enemy dies. This mod prevents this.

What this change does

I just created a new "Serana Flinz Faction" and added Serana and various followers to it, and made a combat "friend" relationship with the DLC1 Serana faction that Serana belongs to. Then I gave Serana the DLC2BlackBookCompanionInsight perk (that's why the mod requires Dragonborn).

The followers for the patches I've created so far have all been custom, and all but one of them have their own follower frame. If you are already using EFF or some other follower management module, followers using the vanilla framework may not require such a patch. I personally use EFF, which lets you set the number of friendly clicks that hosted followers will ignore, but others like IAFT may have similar functionality.

These are just small esp files, no archives, no loose files and most importantly, no scripts. Just select the patches for the minions you're using, install them, and ignore the rest.

I know there are other mods that try to do something similar, but using completely different methods, like scripting, changing her spell list, or other tricks. My goal is to be very small, lightweight and should have the widest possible compatibility.

NOTE: If you go into command mode and tell Serana "I need you to do something" and then tell her to attack the follower, it will no longer be friendly fire and the two will start fighting.
