About this mod Machine translation
Patches for Holy Ghost, Winterstown, Better Dead Saxophone and more are available with Requiem!
Sacrosanct
Originally based on BG's patches, they have granted me permission to manage and upload patches. This patch rebalances certain aspects of Requiem and Sanctuary so that they fit together nicely.
Install
RENAME or DELETE Requiem's playervampirequest.pex, found in data/scripts. Load Sacrosanct and this patch after Requiem. If you use Mod Organizer, overwrite Requiem with both Sacrosanct and Patch. If you are using the Mod Manager, make sure to install Sacrosanct and patches after installing Requiem, saying yes to all overrides. (Optional) You can rename/delete VampireSunISMDEffectScript.pex to turn off the blind screen effect.

v1.2
Patch was changed to Requiem-Sacrosanct Patch.
No longer incompatible with mods used to edit the destruction and silver damage perks.
Reduced damage and increased cost of vampire drain. Vampire NPCs now deal the same damage to this spell as you.
The cost of Hematherapy no longer increases significantly unless you have the corresponding benefits. Instead, many spells increase the cost and power of the magic.
Night Walk: Lowered the duration from 20 seconds to 10 seconds to prevent it from going on for too long, as the 24-hour cooldown prevents you from turning it off manually anymore.
Fixed an issue where blood on stone wouldn't work.
Hunger Artist effect reduced from 25% to 10%.
Health and stamina reduced from 150 to 50. v1.1
Fixed Vampire Command not being granted to player.
Edited loading screen and player message text for immersion.
Requiem's "Nourishing Vial" recipe is disabled.
Disables Requiem's vampiric trait, allowing enemies to drop instantly consumable blood and have various abilities to resist physical damage.
Removed Health Vial from level list, now only Blood Elixir drops.
Makes the Dawnguard unable to become immediately hostile to you, so you can advance the Dawnguard Quest to Harkon's Court... or hide yourself in the Dawnguard while helping them. (Although, why can't we walk to Harkon's Court Bethesda?)
Bonus health and stamina gained from vampires reduced from 300 to 150.
Vampire resistance to frost is 50%, resistance to fire is reduced from -75% to -150% (stages 1-4), and resistance to poison is 100%.
Sun damage no longer kills you instantly, but instead greatly weakens your Magicka and Stamina, and makes healing more difficult.
You will not be able to heal with potions as a vampire unless you use the Potion of Transcendence.
Heartbeat
Creating a blood potion with the Court's SHEF' perk now requires 1-2 Frost Salt to craft. The reason for this is that Teleport Vitals allow you to swim in gallons of blood due to the large amount of heart you get.
Various skills no longer work on undead or specific enemies. Blood in the stone can still allow you to damage Daedra & Dwemer machines.
The crippled empire's racial abilities received varying bonuses from temples, but were replaced by Speechcraft bonuses due to bugs.
Reduced Hungry Artist's effectiveness by half to compensate for Requiem's high spell scaling.
NPC unarmed damage is set to 25 points of damage.
Under the influence of sunlight, the Night Stalker's footsteps no longer work.
Intruder's Curse effect increased from 10->25.
spell
It's almost impossible to cast a bloodline spell unless you have enough of the cost reduction perk that lowers the tree of destruction. This is done because it's easy to get a lot of magicka in Requiem, allowing you to cast spells that you wouldn't otherwise be able to use.
Vampire Drain: Spends 20-37 Magicka points and absorbs 18-30 health points at levels 1-4.
NPC Vampire Vampire: The vampire's blood-sucking ability is 10-15, or 35 points of life magic and stamina.
Cloak of Dread: Gain 10% fire resistance.
Blood Seed: Takes 5 points of damage every second for 18 seconds. The Hunger Artist absorbs 0.75 health points per second for 18 seconds.
Blood Brand (damage overtime …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
