Scribe Mod

This mod adds a custom portable crafting system to all vanilla scrolls. Suitable for craftsmen and van Gogh masters of all kinds.

Target

Originally, scrolls were a cheap way to get a few extra points of damage or some spacing here and there. This bothered me a long time ago and I made a scribe. However, the original mod was a mess, with a confusing build path and no real direction. I've been away from the modding scene for a long time, but now I'm happy to release a beta version of the first mod I've ever made.

Scribe Mod is simple, adding a custom crafting system to create or carve into all existing vanilla scrolls. I also polished the original reels so now they are actually useful rather than simply used as turf fodder.

How to use

In order to create new tools, you need to visit a merchant and obtain an inkwell and a quill. Parchment can be made in the traditional way, stretching the leather to a tissue-like consistency. These kits can be crafted on the tanning rack or activated from the inventory. Great for upgrading other scrollbars on the go. Inks are created with ink sets, while scrolls are made with scribe's kits. The rest is up to your creativity. Each magic school has an ink branch, and the resources shouldn't be too hard to come by since they are single use spells.

If possible, I'd like to add scrollbars or similar scrollbars myself, or have another magic designer create my own.

compatibility

Since this mod only adjusts vanilla scrolling and values, it should be compatible with everything, especially with other portable/roaming style mods.

This mod only requires the base game, as there are no new scrolls added to any expansions.
