About this mod Machine translation

Want to add more vocal features to your Shouts? Feeling like your relentless strength isn't communicating what you're going through? Do you want cute Pokémon sounds from short viral clips on Twitter? Oldrim and SSE compatible!

Was there ever a day when you just had to yell out into the world without worrying about the consequences?

Do you feel like you're missing guttural vocals when you do the upgraded Indomitable Shout? Doesn’t it truly reflect how you really feel?

Do you want to experience Skyrim with the sounds of screaming Pokémon and tearing apart bandits, giants, and nazeem with it in that short viral video on Twitter?

Now is your chance to finally become the Quagsire the Dragonborn never really imagined!

Available for OLDRIM and Special Edition!

According to a tweet from YouTuber Tom Fawkes, you too can now become Pokemon Quagsire and use your relentless powers to truly reflect how you currently feel about the world. Literally give it to them as you take a deep breath and let out a scream that could tear the entire land apart, letting everyone know that pent-up anger, frustration or whatever is coming through Quagsire's head. You can also scream loudly to scare anyone who gets in your way, or if you need a quick burst of energy after someone takes your donut away. (Just don't do Fus Ro, the game never seems to like doing mid-song shoutouts...)

This module was a simple audio replacement for Relentless Force, and was quickly used by Tom Fawkes in his modded version of Skyrim as Swoley the Elf. This has been expanded to other races to give others a chance to use this silly idea in their own games. The idea was first proposed during the first playthrough of Skyrim during the opening cutscene, made a nice donation during Alduin's attack, and finally came to fruition after a brief discussion in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe video stream. There's nothing like replacing the sound clip, giving it a bit of reverb to match the other sounds, and then duplicating the file so everyone else has it.

This only replaces the shouts of the playable character (and any modified followers that use the game's original sounds and have access to shouts). I didn't replace the files for Draugrs (asked for it, but was asked if it was) and any of Dragon's use of Shout. While there is a version of all shout commands (Fus, Fus Ro, Fus Ro Dah), there's a good chance you'll be using Fus or the full Fus Ro Dah. I did Fus Ro so it wouldn't feel incomplete in a sense (even though I basically used Ros for Fu).

Yes, all PC women sound like men when doing this shoutout. It just adds to the silliness of it.

Install

Loose: No matter where you installed Skyrim, go to the Data folder and drag and drop the Sounds folder into the Data folder. Everything else should be placed correctly.

conflict

This will replace everything you currently use for Relentless Force, so whatever shout mod you have won't play that file. Aside from unrelenting power, this won't affect any other shout files you have.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
