About this mod Machine translation

This mod changes the Vanilla Slaughter body plan from a Lizard Tadpole to something closer to that of North America's Crocodile Man, by replacing the Vanilla Slaughter skeleton with a custom lizard! This is a subtle but needed change to satisfy any fisherman and increase your immersion level by 101%

Skyrim's carnage has the proportions of a giant tadpole. This mod replaces the vanilla butchering skeleton with a new custom skeleton, designed to make Skyrim's butchering more realistic and immersive, closer to the North American Alligator Gar. Working within the confines of Vanilla Mesh, I adjusted Skyrim's cannibals' heads, jaws, fins and tails to give them a more realistic look! These new subtle changes to Skyrim's slaughter make them more like their North American cousins and turn them into apex ocean predators that can tear a man to pieces. Now you can enjoy encountering realistic and cannibalistic carnage across the province of Skyrim, with each encounter immersing you more in the word "Skyrim"!

Salty Slaughterfish uses the custom skeleton of Vanilla Slaughterfish and will override any mods that change the skeleton of vanilla Slaughterfish. Mods that make radical changes to the vanilla skeleton, such as "Realistic Ragdoll and Power" should be compatible as long as "Salty Slaughterfish" is installed after these mods and allows its files to be overwritten.

Should be fully compatible with any texture mod, as this mod does not contain its own skeleton-only textures.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
