Update instructions:

Update 1.05b - Only updated the real lighting version.

Update 1.05a - Updated CoT and VW versions. Added update for SL version.

Update 1.04 - Added RLO support (install RLO, do not install: RLO Weathers plug-in).

Update 1.03 - Added ELFX support (if you install ELFX, do not install the ELFX weather plugin).

How to use

1: Copy the two files d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll in the ENB core and paste them into your Skyrim SE root directory file.

2: After unzipping my ENB preset master file (Rudy for SSE v.1.05), copy and paste the files inside into your Skyrim SE root directory file.

As shown in the picture

3: Install Vivid Weather or Surreal Lighting

(You all know the installation method NMM or manual copying...)

Triage: Vivid Weather and Surreal Lighting.zip

4: Install Enhanced Lighting ENB (ELE) - Special Edition v1.1 or Enhanced Lights and Special Effects Light and Shadow ELFX into your game.

(When using this ENB, do not install the weather in ELFX)

(After decompression: Use MOD manager or NMM to load ESP (you all know this....)

ENB settings

Remove black borders:

Shift+Enter Open the ENB settings. Open the bottom option on the right. There is a Letter Box option. Cancel the green check inside.

Then save it and there will be no black borders.

SkyrimPrefs.ini settings:

SkyrimPrefs.ini - fGamma = 1.0000

To avoid using Skyrim SE TAA's anti-aliasing, which causes problems with sharpening and DOF (at least in my case),

Please use FXAA, the sharpening options that can be found in the GUI - enbeffectpostpass.fx, and adjust to suit your taste.

Change this line in SkyrimPrefs.ini:

bDrawLandShadows=1

There are 3 different major versions after decompression

Each major version contains 3 different minor versions

Choose the version you want

Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
