About this mod Machine translation

This mod adds the opportunity for the iconic "OOF!" to NPCs and creatures. After death, Robert died. Thanks Miken700 for the inspiration.

Roblox OOF Sound of Death

---------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -

describe

This is a modified version of miken700's Schel of Wilhelm mod. It uses the same framework he/she used, but Wilhelm Scream is replaced by Roblox death sounds.

The ID name has been changed to allow this mod to work independently. It took me a few hours to get it working as I have very little experience working with CK.

That being said, this is compatible with miken700's mod.

I also strongly recommend using and endorsing miken700's mod!

set up

Variables can be modified using the command console to adjust how often NPCs and mobs make OOF sounds when they die.

illustrate:

  • Open the console ("~" or the key in the upper left corner)
  • Type "help robloxoof" (without quotes) to see the current value and help find the correct spelling of the variable.
  • Type "Set RobloxOOFchanceNPC to 50" to set the NPC chance to 50%, and so on.
  • Type "Set RobloxOOFchanceCreature to 50" to set the creature chance to 50%, and so on.
  • Close the console (same key used to open the console)
  • Settings will be saved when saving the game
  • Setup details
  • RobloxOOFChanceNPC
  • Chances of humanoids (NPCs) will be OOF! after death
  • Default setting is 20% (same as mikken700). Can be set from 0 (disabled) to 100 (100% chance)
  • Values are saved in save file
  • RobloxOOFChanceCreature
  • Creatures (all non-NPCs) will have a chance of OOF! after death
  • Default value is set to 5% (same as mikken700). Can be set from 0 (disabled) to 100 (100% chance)
  • Values are saved in save file

Notice

Should be compatible with Mikken700's Schel of Wilhelm mod. I use them in my games and they work fine.

Note that if both mods are set to 100% chance, the game will choose either one or use the vanilla death sound.

I'm not sure if this will work with SSE, but please try it yourself and let us know how it works.

Install

Install via NMM or MO (I use the latter). You can also install manually by extracting the files into the Skyrim Data folder.

uninstall

Uninstall the mod using your mod manager. For manual installation, you can simply delete them. There are no scripts in this mod, but I recommend using a save game cleaner to make sure.

Licensing instructions

Mikken700 has declared his mod as part of the public domain. Therefore, I don't claim this mod either. Feel free to use it however you like.

Acknowledgments

  • Roblox offers the iconic scream (which has achieved meme status)
  • Online Audio Converter: http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-wma (I had to convert mp3 to wav instead of just renaming the extension to make it work)
  • Original mod provided by Mikken700 (download and endorse him/her!)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
