This mod changes the textures of all Argonians in the game to more closely resemble the look of the Egon (The Elder Scrolls Online) trailer.
I saw this as a mod request on the forum and decided to make it unencrypted.
I spent a lot of time on this mod. I just wanted men to look for me, but decided a lot of people might want women too, which would double the work. I've tried to make sure the texture seams are as invisible as possible, and hand-painted each texture to try and match the look of the original design.
This is my version and is by no means perfect. But if you want your Argonians to look more badass alligators and less clueless lizards, then get started!
Install
This is a simple texture replacement for the base Argonian male and female and their eye options.
Just download or unzip the file using Mod Manager and merge it with the Skyrim/data folder and you're good to go.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
