Rising Star ENB

This ENB is my take on realism in Skyrim. In short, I want the player to feel as if they are not looking at a monitor, but looking through a window into the real world on the other side.

I've messed around with the ENB setup before, but after trying out the CR ENB, I wanted to use it as a basic starting point and create my own from there. This ENB strips away a lot of the stuff the CR ENB uses, like SweetFX and Ambient Occulsion, and tries to make it performance friendly while still looking really nice. This was a 3 month project for me and ENB is never "done" to me, it has reached the point where it can be shared with everyone.

Hopefully there will be updates every month or so so I can continue to tweak the setup and try to perfect it. So from an introductory perspective, let’s dive into what you need and what I recommend

Download and install the latest ENB Binary. This ENB is for binary 319+

Use your own configured ENBlocal.ini file. Make sure the proxy settings are as follows:

[PROXY]

EnableProxyLibrary = false

InitProxyFunctions = true

ProxyLibrary = other_d3d9.dll

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
