About this mod Machine translation
This mod inserts a powerful god's ring using Dawnguard assets as well as a new dungeon. It's not your typical god item mod, it's designed to be used by the character at the end of the game to have more fun. This is my first mod, should be compatible with everything, hopefully no bugs. No support because I probably wouldn't.
Hi,
So, I've always liked the idea of (legally) forging your own god items, you know, there's no such thing as a BS resto loop. Sadly, I was very disappointed with the legal options available, so I came up with the idea of making a mod to forge my own god items. This is for my mage play, so the god item in question is a mage oriented ring.
So what this mod does is add god items, items that must be forged using lesser items found and fought in fairly difficult (I hope) dungeons. There are no requirements, so no quest items, markers, or anything. It's up to the player to (hopefully) encounter dungeons or clues leading to dungeons during their travels. This is meant to be difficult, so when you finally get your hands on that god item, it's as if you've already acquired it.
This is my first mod to be hosted here in case my computer goes down and I lose my hard work, and I honestly don't expect any downloads. That way if you download this you won't get my support and something will go wrong (frankly I have no idea what I'm doing and that might make it worse). Again, if you download it, feel free to (if you want) fix any errors you see and send it back, or re-upload your own version, I really don't care.
If you have trouble finding your item, you can find the "Spoiler/Minor Spoiler Version" walkthrough as well as the "Spoiler Version" walkthrough in the Documentation tab and Articles section.
Requires latest updates for Dawnguard and Skyrim. Should be compatible with everything.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
