About this mod Machine translation
Use a potion or your knowledge in Restoration or Alchemy to save someone from death.
This mod adds a fairly simple immersive Revive power to players. The chance of success depends on: (1-Time) the time the target died; (2-Application) the number of healing potions/ingredients used; and (3-Knowledge) the player character's Restoration or Alchemy skill level. If the target has died for more than 40 minutes in the game, they cannot be revived. Player-killed, dismembered, undead, dwarven automatons, demons, dragons and targets cannot be recovered.
Ability description
Equip Revive for less power.
Give healing potions/ingredients (up to 3) to the deceased target [open the corpse's inventory and place your potions/ingredients inside] and/or equip a healing spell. (optional)
Face the target and activate the smaller force.
If the conditions are met (and the smaller power source is not grayed out), the targets will glow yellow as if they have been healed, and the screen will fade to black for a short time (hopefully creating the immersive illusion of activity). Otherwise, nothing will happen, indicating that your target is most likely dead.
If successfully restored, the target's health will be low, they will be bleeding and harmless, and will remain that way for a while. If your target is an enemy, they will no longer be hostile to you. They will also speak their healing spell reply dialogue (if available) and you have the healing spell equipped.
additional details
The maximum chance of success in applying the factor is only (3). (1) Healing potions/ingredients count as (1) variables. Equipping a healing spell or both spells also only counts as a (1) variable. More than (3) (for example, three (3) healing potions/ingredients and an equipped healing spell) is redundant and will only waste the extra potions/ingredients you add.
Using better potions or rare ingredients does not increase your chances of success.
There is a 25% chance that the target will die irreversibly regardless of any factors.
You can attempt multiple revivals as long as the conditions are met. However, spamming the smaller power button will cause the smaller power button to appear gray for a period of time. I recommend not using Revive more than 3-5 times to avoid complications.
Reanimated corpses can still be targeted by Revive, although it will never work on them. Don't waste time trying to rejuvenate them.

*Because there is no way to easily check if "food" items (food, ingredients, potions) have magic effects with certain keywords (such as MagicRestoreHealth), I had to manually add these items to the list. If you want to add other items (vanilla, DLC added, or mods added) to the list, you will need to patch. Simply add the required items to "___RevivePotionsList" by creating a kit or TES5Edit. I believe that mods that only change the name of vanilla medicine do not require patching.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
