About this mod Machine translation
Essentially: Changed the color and properties of the Silver Sword, while also adding crafting and tempering recipes to it. There are also 2 other versions of the Silver Sword available for you to find and craft.
Purpose:
This mod adds recipes for crafting and refining silver weapons, while also slightly adjusting their quantities. With the textures recolored to make them look more like actual silver weapons. Increases their damage and weight. Furthermore, upgraded versions of them can be crafted or found in lonely temples.
---
Ordinary silver swords and great swords:
The Silver Sword has been renamed the 'Silver Longsword' because that's what this weapon is, and the Greatsword's name remains unchanged.
Their damage is now equal to that of steel weapons.
They can both be crafted if one owns a Steel Smith Vibrating Hammer and can be improved with a Silver Ingot and a Salt Pile on a Grindstone.
Salt was once thought to ward off evil spirits, so I decided to stick with that medieval theme. Swords still do the same amount of damage to undead and werewolves as before (~20% I believe, I haven't changed).
Regal Silver Longswords and Greatswords: Silver Swords
The attached, stand-alone version not only does more damage, but also weighs more.
Their damage is slightly higher than Ebony weapons (~Daedric).
They can all be crafted at any forge, but require the Ebony Smith perk.
Improvements can be made on a grindstone with a silver ingot and a salt pile.
Can be found in the upper bedroom in the Temple of Solitude in Duvall's Chest, along with the Old Smith's Diary and the Akatosh Amulet.
Just like vanilla silver, they deal extra damage to undead and werewolves.
Duval Silver Longswords and Greatswords:
An improved version of the Regal weapon discussed above. Decorate it with a glow map to radiate the holy light of the Aether God.
Their damage is the same as dragon bone weapons. Still deals extra damage to undead and werewolves.
They increase the overall effectiveness of Dawnbreaker's enchantments by 50%. I think this could last longer too.
They can only be crafted at Skyforge in Whiterun. Crafting these weapons requires the Regal version, as well as an amulet from each Divine State (9 in total: Akatosh, Arkay, Mara, Dibella, Stendarr, Julianos, Zenthhar, Kynareth, and Talos). It has no claim for Smith revitalization.

Update.esp
(Essentially, just based on Skyrim, not even including the DLC.)
File options:
Plain ol' Silver - Basic file, just Silver Sword and Greatsword tweaked and recolored. This file does not add weapons to the Regal and Duval versions.
Severe Incandescent - This version adds the Regal and Duvall swords and all other items connected to them to the game. In this version, Duvall weapons will glow more.
Humbly Radiant - This version adds the Regal and Duvall swords and all other items connected to them to the game. In this version, Duval's weapons emit less light.
All files are independent, just make sure not to use Grossly Incandescent and Humbly Radiant files at the same time as they will cancel each other out. All textures have a resolution of 1k.
Known issues:
Since the Duvall variant requires 10 items to be forged, the letters become too small to be seen when trying to determine the materials required. Remember, each Divine State only requires a Regal Sword and Amulet.
Installation/installation:
You can throw it into your data folder and then remove it when you don't need it by deleting its files. Or, get on the same side and use whatever manager you want.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
