About this mod Machine translation
Launch the player in an alternative realm (instead of the default execution scene opening). Here they can select items, birth signs, and also start the game from multiple locations. Gorgeous visuals, and endless possibilities for adventure and exploration.

"Kingdom of Lorkhan" brings the game back to life by giving you an otherworldly "Character Creation Area".
This mod replaces the game's original execution scene. Instead, once you press NEW GAME, you are transported to the "Rohan Kingdom". In it, you will choose your equipment, birthstone, and location to start the game. You can also choose a class such as Bard, Pilgrim or Knight.
Should you become an ordinary farmer? Or an apprentice at the Mage Academy? Maybe a simple blacksmith? mercenary? Chinese medicine practitioner? It all depends on you.
Prepare for their adventure by talking to Lorkhan's merchants, who sell clothes, armor, weapons, potions, scrolls, and other necessities. You only need 500 gold coins. Maybe you will waste your money and start poor. Otherwise, if you want to start getting richer, you can collect items from the realm.
When you're ready to start the game, touch one of several gems, each of which will take you to a distinct area of the game world. You can also return to the Kingdom of Lorkhan by returning to the starting gem (although you cannot fast travel back there).
Where should you start? Winterhold Academy for mages? A humble home? Cyrodiil's borders? In the caves of Blackreach? Autumn forest in Riften? The green woods of Falkreath? If you have ideas for other locations, please let me know! I'll check back frequently to add the most requested options.
It's all up to you! Play the game exactly how you want to play it from the start. Create your own character and the possibilities are endless.
Hope you enjoy it and this mod gives you the exact adventure you were looking for!
Lorkhan's quest realm will keep the main quest intact, but will not start with that character in their quest log. This will allow you to become a Dragonborn if you choose, but will not force that path on you. You can start by visiting Whiterun and share news about the recent dragon attack in Helgen. Helgen burns in this mod.
You can also start without allegiance to the Civil War and can start this quest line after visiting Jarl Ulfric or General Tullius. You won't have any inclination towards either Hadvar or Ralof.
This mod starts you off without any quest logs! You start the game with a completely blank slate, except for the missions that other mods have added. I'm very happy with what I've done here, and I think it will benefit your sandbox-style gaming greatly!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
