Real Bows by DecimusMaximus is an amazing mod, but I've always hated the fact that the mod doesn't cover the "Bound Bow" (which happens to be the bow I use the most). So I finally decided to get my feet wet, dive into Nifskope's labyrinth of mysteries, and take care of it myself.
So here we are. This is just a simple mesh replacer of a bound bow, replacing it with Real Bows' Daedric bow and having the usual visual effects of a bound weapon. Yes, you still need to install Real Bows, which is just a separate mesh that replaces the Bound Bow mesh and doesn't contain any textures or change any other Bows.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
