About this mod Machine translation
Races of Tamriel is a mod designed to add most of the subraces to Skyrim, providing more opportunities to immerse yourself in your world and roleplay.
Tamriel race
Although there are already various mods targeting specific cultures, groups, or subraces, I am determined to improve the game by adding new enemies, interesting locations, deep characters, and unique quests, each inspired by the new races I add and their lore.
Considering this is also the first module I've ever uploaded, this will also be a way for me to learn and improve my skills using the Creation Kit. So all your suggestions and help are welcome.
Currently includes races:
Vengeful Reacher has bonuses for alchemy, stealth, summoning, archery, one-handed and light armor. Eager to restore their fallen kingdom, they created magical objects, each imbued with malice and hatred for the people of the North.
A strange torment, they were cursed with a disease originating from the Daedric, causing them to waste away. They come with the bonuses of transfiguration, illusion, restoration, speech, enchantment, and alteration. A special tortured NPC can be found in one of the cities, but he hasn't really been used yet. Valenwood
The mysterious Wood Orcs are said to have more in common with their Bosmer neighbors than their relatives in Orsinium. They have archery, stealth, light armor, two-handed and smithing bonuses.
The Skaal, who strives to be one with nature and a whole machine. They receive bonuses to light armor, two-handed, restoration, smithing, speech, and alteration.
The Nibenese, the cultural and economic soul of Cyrodiil, has bonus points in repair, destruction, speech, one-handedness, and alchemy.
The Colovians, Free Will Warriors and Raiders of Eastern Cyrodiil. They have bonuses to recovery, speech, enchantment, one-handed, block and damage.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
