About this mod Machine translation
Gorgeous conversion of Proudspire Manor, a house in the lonely area of Haafingar. Tiny house with decor, bookshelves and wine.
Requirements: DLC and USLEEP. Due to changes in task and location data,
Unofficial patch dependencies will always exist.
I was not happy with all the differences between the exterior and interior of the Proudspire, so I decided to remodel the interior to be closer to the exterior. It's nowhere near a 100% match or anything like that, but I think it's a little closer than in vanilla.
It is a completely different house with two floors and a loft. The kitchen and living room are on the first floor, the bedroom and lounge area with sofas are on the second floor, and the third floor is trash. See screenshot for details.
This is for Oldrim, but you can now find the Special Edition conversion here.
Is this mod lore friendly?
No, probably not true :p
Is there a place for family? children
No. Not even a spouse. It's more like an expensive man cave for anyone of either gender. Lone Soldier Maybe Amorous Adventures is going on... By the way, there's a (subtle) NSFW hint in the house (bedroom), so keep that in mind. Of course, Jordis is here, but with mods like My Home Is Your Home you can find her a different place to stay (otherwise she would have a sandbox around the house and sleep on the couch). If you want your children to live a lonely life, check out Deithwen-Family Edition. Features: 8 bookshelves with 11 books each (if you use Unlimited Bookshelves, see the "Pictures" tab for more information)
The main floor bed and sofa*), a weapon plaque for two weapons and a shield.
*The couch is set up as "kids accessible" so if you have kids following you they should be able to sleep there too. Hypothetically. Make sure you have something that prevents scaling, such as SIZE DOES MATTER. Again, no adoption, I'm just talking about followers here.
This is an apartment located in a big city, so other crafting stations can be found elsewhere, especially on city mods. If you want more displays, I highly recommend the Legacy of the Dragonborn, which is also located in Solitude. compatibility:
May be incompatible with editing anything in Proudspire Manor, for example the lighting module may cause minor issues**. It would be nice to use a city mod as I only changed the outside terrace and city mods don't usually edit that area. If you encounter some compatibility issues, please let me know and I'll include it here.
** ELFX: Install ELFX-NoProudspireManor.esp or just remove ELFX edits to that cell in TES5Edit.
Regarding any other mod editing SolitudeProudspireManor modules for units, furniture or lights - the same applies.
JK seems fine.
Alternate Start - Live Another Life is semi-compatible: the starting spawn location in Proudspire Manor can be moved into Proudspire Manor using the optional patch on this page (this patch is not required if you launch the game elsewhere).
Open City is incompatible (gate markers and patios again, naturally).
Semi-compatible with Holds The City Overhaul as of 1.1 (no crashes, but the door markers are not in the correct position, use the optional patch on this page to move them if needed). I recommend only installing this for new games
(i.e. starting a new game with this mod enabled) instead of adding to an existing save. Otherwise, even if you haven't been to the estate before, some things will be spoiled. Of course, you can always experiment at your own expense, but the racks won't work, mission items will float in space, etc. If you start a new game, you should avoid these problems.
Yes, there is no need to buy home improvements, you just need to buy the home.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
