Added book requirements for the Immersive Armor pack to appear in the Crucible
Is anyone else tired of trying to create a new weapon/armor mod that they just discovered and having to scroll for a minute because it's at the end of a very long list? I am so, so I made this mod. It adds book requirements so that any armor from the Immersive Armor Pack can appear in the forge, so a lot of gear is hidden until you want to see it.
Q&A:
Install?
A. Drag and drop into your Immersive Armor Pack folder and overwrite the current esp
Question: Why?
A: Because I have a ton of armor/weapon mods installed and my forge list is so long, I want to go to forge and only see what I want to craft at that moment. If you have the crafting manual it will appear in the furnace, if not it was easy enough for me.
Q: Will this change any crafting recipes?
A: If the original requires perks, a certain level, etc., it is still required. This only adds to the book requirements to have the book appear in the forge, and adds +/- items to further organize the armor combinations in the fake book. .
Q: Where can I find books?
A: Belethor has it, I debated putting it on the giant's chest lol, but decided against it.
Q: Compatibility?
A: Belethor's shop is the only world space issue, any mod that changes the recipe will conflict, please refer to the following questions for solutions.
Q: Gear+ and Gear- appear in the furnace, what's going on?
A. Forge Menu Overhaul - This amazing idea was originally something I used to shorten my forge lists, but it never worked out the way I wanted, so I learned how to do it and copied it for myself, and the idea for the book actually came about when I realized I still had a ton of lists from many of DeserterX's mods.
Q: I have downloaded some of these books now and I only see one mod's book in Belathor's store!
A. Thanks to the mod rewrite one, remember how many mods said I was at the bottom of the load order due to the rewrite? Same problem. There are several options
- Wyre Bash
- Mator smash
- AddItemMenu
-console -Search for all books with "different characteristics"
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
