About this mod Machine translation
Three modules to reduce fog in the game and reduce bacterial flora and debris.
Foreword:
This is my first mod, so don't expect any polish or security; it's just a hack job on my part, as I've found little or no success with other fog removers/plant/clutter removers on it. If you've already used an alternative to this mod and it works great, don't bother with this mod as it doesn't add anything new.
Additionally, the main files used for this mini-addon are Skyrim.esm and Update.esm, which means you must have these two files to make this mod
Works normally. This isn't a big deal, if you downloaded the game you should have both files.
What does this mod do?
This module is divided into three modules, which can complete different tasks and can be used separately. These modules include defogging, sterilization and debris removal.
Fog Reduction: The sole purpose of this mod is to remove fog, mist and dust from the Skyrim world.
Less flora please: This module is less labor intensive to implement. I was more picky about what was left to make sure the important components stayed the same. This means that the composition of Skyrim is entirely reserved for the Alchemist, however, the shrubs are cleared and the density of the trees is selectively diluted without completely clearing them
To reduce clutter, please: Remove items that I feel add nothing to the game, eliminating the following items: sacks, rugs, baskets, pots, plates, cutlery, jugs, cups, bones, hay, open chests, most firewood, lanterns, buckets, hanging furs, and wall baskets.
Again, these are thoughtfully crafted, minimally tested mods that should be used as a last resort. They shouldn't have any unintended effects, but perhaps an experienced modder can foresee any problems that might arise from the way I made the mod (see next section).
How do I make this mod?
Each of the three modules is made with the same approach, which involves removing fog, vegetation, or clutter-related objects. That's it, like I said - I'm not a modder.
Reducing the Fog: Essentially, what I did was open CreationKit and start removing all the fog-related effects from the Objects list.
Please reduce flora: use CreationKit to selectively remove the most insignificant flora - the alchemy system should remain intact.
Please reduce clutter: Please use CreationKit to remove the ugliest and most irrelevant clutter from your game.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
