About this mod Machine translation
This is a Male Argonian sound pack for HHaleyy's PC Head Tracking and Voice Type mod's "Build Your Own Sound" feature, using sound files extracted from the vanilla game plugin.
This is the "build your own voice" feature of the Male Argonian Voice Pack with PC head tracking and voice typing by mod HHaleyy. The mod adds a lot of immersion to the game when your character can turn his head to look at people/things around him instead of just staring blankly. The voice functionality is also great, as your character can now also greet people and answer a few simple words without having to be completely muted.
However, making combat voices work requires a custom voice pack, and so far I haven't found anything that can be done for male Argonians. So I went ahead and did it myself, with the help of a very useful tool Lazy Sound Search of BowmoreLover.
All sounds are vanilla and extracted from the game plugin itself. You can now become a lively swamp dweller with authentic voices and taunts during combat as well as a number of other events (including the activities so far: sneaking around, saying hello, being picky, opening journal/map).

Install
- (Predefined) Download and install using your Mod Manager (NMM, MO, Vortex, etc.). If you are asked to overwrite, press the "Yes to All" button (the files that are overwritten are the same .txt files from PC Head Tracking and Voice Type mods).
- Install manually by unzipping the .zip file anywhere on your computer. Then copy the "data" folder within it to paste into your Skyrim directory.
Uninstall
- (Preferred) Uninstall using your Mod Manager.
- Uninstall manually by going to Skyrim\Data\Sound\fx\PC Head Tracking and delete only the .wav files in the subfolders (01.wav to 05.wav or 01.wav to 10.wav). Do not delete any folders or .txt files, only the .wav files.
Notice
It is recommended (although not mandatory) to change the volume of "Custom Sounds" to maximum in the Audio settings and set the percentage of sounds of the "Battle" category to be played in the "BYO Sound Types" section of MCM's PC Head Tracking to 75%. in the picture section)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
