This mod adds a Chaos Dagger and Hornet Ring based on dealing high critical damage in Dark Souls III.
This mod adds a Chaos Dagger and Hornet Ring based on dealing high critical damage in Dark Souls III.
The items are pretty simple: the Chaos Dagger is an iron dagger with higher base damage and a fire enchantment (not the Chaos enchantment added by the Dragonborn DLC, as the Dark Souls III Chaos Dagger deals fire damage instead of ice, fire, and electricity damage.), and the Hornet Ring is a ring that uses the same enchantment as the Dark Brotherhood Gauntlet to double the critical strike of a one-handed weapon.
Both items can be found just a few meters away from the Treasure Map IV location, on the cliff south of Pelagia Farm, on the corpse of the Casul R1 Spammer. Presumably after his black sword was blocked, the Chaos Dagger got stuck in the poor man's chest, and the Hornet Ring was in the backpack next to him. Unfortunately, he never used the Bumblebee Ring. He also possessed a copy of a book which, judging from his condition, he did not have time to read before his death.
Grab this dagger and the mighty Hornet Ring and blast away with one-shots until your wrists get tired.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
