About this mod Machine translation
This mod makes all consumables, crafting materials, books, and everything packrats like to carry around lightweight. Additionally, it renames the items for better sorting.
There are several mods for weightless items, and some that rename items for better sorting, but since they modify the same items, they are not compatible. This mod aims to solve that by combining the two.
This mod makes all consumables, crafting materials, books, and everything packrats like to carry around lightweight. Additionally, it renames the items for better sorting.
As of version 1.1, I've also added HF to any item that can be crafted in Hearthfire. They should all be weightless as well (most were already weightless in version 1.0, but I missed a few). I decided not to rename ingots, gems, and ingredients with the HF tag, even though they can be used in HF crafting other than vanilla crafting. Feel free to tell me what you think.
I also added an option to turn 1 dwarven scrap metal into 2 dwarven ingots. It feels weird not being able to do this since they are so big. Be careful though, you can use this in Hearthfire to create Dwarven Spiders or Sphere Trophies. To keep things consistent with the other dwarf raw materials, I added HF on the bottom instead of on top like other HF items.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
