About this mod Machine translation
A vanilla-style town has been added to Winterhold Fortress north of Wyndham County
This is another town mod I created with the idea that the town had to feel like it was originally a part of Skyrim. So nothing fancy here. That in no way means it's not a fun town. It has some unique features. And since the city of Winterhold has done almost nothing in terms of population, I added the town to the municipality. This is a town built around a corundum mine.
Require
Just the latest version of Skyrim (original version)
feature
A vibrant breathing town where NPCs have their own lives.
*There is a hotel. You can rent a room here or get bounties from the innkeeper.
*There was a blacksmith in the town, but since he mainly serviced mining tools, he set up shop in the mines. This way you can find him.
*There is a "miscellaneous" merchant in town. Even when the weather is really bad, his shop is outside. He tries to become a true Nord.
*Guardianship changes with war faction.
*As a supporter of the Stormcloaks (since they are so close to Windheim) the town also has a sad past and you will find graves and ruined houses in plain view.
*(Some kind of hidden) Talos Shrine.
compatibility
Anything can run except what can be placed in the same space.
Any items on the Whistle Mine that remove wards will affect the Overstead's wards.

or
Manual installation
- Locate the Data/ folder in the Skyrim installation directory. It can usually be found in Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/Data/.
- Extract the contents of the downloaded archive file into your Data/ folder. Make sure the "Meshes" folder goes into the "Meshes" folder within the Skyrim Data folder. Same as "Textures" folder
-In Skyrim Launcher, select "Data Files" and enable "Overstead.esp"
Uninstall
If for some strange reason you want to delete the mod, simply delete it from the Data folder and the Overstead.esp file located in the following two folders:
Data / Meshes / Actors / Character / FaceGenData / FaceGeom / Overstead.esp
Data/Textures/Characters/Characters/FaceGenData/FaceTint/Overstead.esp like this
When you do, always make sure you're away from town, not say inside a building in town. This is the same as deleting security files.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
